Dr. Adam Wallace, the best accident care doctor in Tulsa that works at Accident Clinics of Memorial Park Healthplex

Dr. Adam Wallace is a Board Certified Pain Management and Anesthesiology physician. He received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma’s College of Medicine. From there he went on to his residency in Anesthesiology and his fellowship in Pain Management at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Education in Jacksonville, Florida. He has received board certification both in Anesthesiology and Pain Management through the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Adam Wallace moved back to Tulsa, Oklahoma and started private practice pain management in 2013. Dr. Wallace and Dr. Torgerson started The Spine and Pain Center of Tulsa in 2018. He is devoted to all aspects of interventional and medical management of chronic pain, ensuring improved function and quality of life for every one of his patients. He is also an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Anesthesiologists. Outside of his practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, being outdoors, and traveling.

Dr. Brian Torgerson, the best accident care doctor in Tulsa that works with Dr. Wallace

Dr. Brian Torgerson is a Board Certified Pain Management and Anesthesiology physician. He was born and raised in Oklahoma. He completed his undergraduate education with a summa cum laude degree in zoology from the University of Oklahoma. From there, he earned his medical doctorate at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. Dr. Torgerson completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and Baptist Health System.

Following his residency, he was chosen for one of the most prestigious pain management fellowships, The Internal Pain Institute of Texas Tech University. There he worked under the tutelage of Dr. Gabor Racz, one of the most accomplished and respected interventional pain management physicians in the world.

Since 2011, Dr. Torgerson has been practicing pain management in Tulsa where he is dedicated to using a multimodal approach to pain management to provide outstanding care for his patients. Dr. Wallace and Dr. Torgerson started The Spine and Pain Center of Tulsa in 2018. Dr. Torgerson is also an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Anesthesiologists. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, traveling, staying active, and coaching his daughter’s basketball team.

Dr. Sarah Christensen, double board certified physician

Dr. Sarah Christensen, M.D., is a distinguished rheumatologist based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, renowned for her expertise in diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases and managing associated pain. Dr. Christensen's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. Following medical school, she completed both her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She further specialized by undertaking a Fellowship in Rheumatology at the same institution. Dr. Christensen is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She is also an esteemed member of the American Medical Association (AMA).

In late 2022, Dr. Sarah Christensen founded Remedy Rheumatology with the vision of providing individualized care for patients with rheumatologic conditions and arthritis. Her approach integrates holistic methods alongside conventional treatments, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs. Understanding the complexities of chronic rheumatic conditions, Dr. Christensen collaborates with specialists in interventional pain management, including procedures like epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablations. This multimodal approach ensures a holistic and personalized strategy, addressing both the symptoms and underlying causes, fostering a path towards improved quality of life for individuals navigating chronic rheumatic conditions.

Dr. Blake Christensen is a proud fifth-generation Oklahoman from the Deer Creek/Edmond area. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Letters with a minor in Science from the University of Oklahoma where he competed on the wrestling team. He then attended OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned my Doctor of Osteopathy Degree. He completed my residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. After residency, he completed an ACGME approved fellowship in Interventional Pain Management in Chicago, Illinois. He took part in this fellowship alongside a large, dynamic group of Interventional Pain faculty associated with the John H. Stroger and Rush Hospital systems. He is Board Certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. He is fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management. Since fellowship, he has enjoyed practicing medicine alongside my wife, Dr. Sarah Christensen, and learning more about her field of study, rheumatology.

In 2015, he returned to his hometown to practice Interventional Pain Management. He opened the Oklahoma Pain Treatment Centers and hired a staff of qualified medical assistants and professionals who share the vision of quality care. It is their goal to provide the highest standard of care to all of patients and effectively communicate treatment plans with each patient’s referring physician.

Dr. Blake Christensen’s specialty is Interventional Pain Management with a focus on current, approved interventional techniques and treatment to medically manage complex pain syndromes.  He approaches pain management using a conservative multimodal approach to identify the source or causation of pain and treating it at the source using minimally invasive treatments.  He works to reintroduce patients back to the healthy, functional, pain-free life they previously enjoyed.

He believes it is possible to #LivePainFree.  He thoroughly enjoys working with his patients to manage and reduce their pain weather a minor accident or a major spine surgery.
